Almost everything that ranks for this phrase is a survey panel. Notapub is not one, and the difference is worth two paragraphs of arithmetic before you spend any time here.
This is not a pub. Ages 13+.
A consumer survey panel pays roughly $0.25 to $3.00 per completed survey. The number that matters is not that one, though, it is the effective hourly rate once you count the time you spend on surveys you do not get into: independent testing puts that at about $1 to $3 an hour, because 50 to 75 percent of attempts end in a screen-out after two to five minutes of demographic questions, usually for nothing.
Then there is the threshold. Most panels will not pay out until you have accumulated $5, and several hold it at $10 to $20. So the first several hours are unpaid by construction.
Academic panels are a real exception and they are better: $8 to $12 an hour, with pre-screening that mostly eliminates mid-study rejection. If steady small income is what you want, that is the honest recommendation and it is not this page.
One conversation of about fifteen minutes, and $50 when it is done and reviewed. No screener, so you cannot be disqualified for being the wrong demographic. No threshold, so there is nothing to accumulate.
The part to be clear-eyed about: it is once. Fifteen minutes for $50 is a good rate for fifteen minutes and it is not a job, and we would rather say that here than have you find out afterwards.
You speak for about fifteen minutes about what you want and what you can offer. That is where most of the roughly thirty profile questions get answered. Once your profile is complete, we send you $50.
Every payout is reviewed by a person before money goes out. You get one payout per person. Your answers must be genuinely yours. Made-up or copy-pasted answers are not paid. We never ask for a card, a bank login or a fee.
Notapub connects people by what they want and what they can offer, and until enough people have said those things it is not useful to anyone. An ad click buys a visitor who usually leaves. $50 buys a finished profile that keeps working for everybody who arrives afterwards.
That is also why it is one per person and why it stops once there are enough. We are buying information, not attention.
About fifteen minutes. You answer the profile questions as you go, and you can finish the last of them by typing later if you would rather.
No. The payout is strictly limited to one per person.
No. There is nothing to accumulate. The $50 is arranged directly with you after a person has read your finished profile.
There is no demographic screener, so not for who you are. A profile is rejected only if the answers are filler, copied, or not genuinely yours.
